General Litigation, Employment and Tax

MISSION

The purpose of the Litigation, Employment and Tax Group is to provide attorney consultations, litigation, and legal support services to Wayne County departments and elected officials so they can reduce liability, exposure, and operating costs in the civil litigation, labor and employment, and tax areas.

PROGRAMS

General Litigation & Employment
The purpose of the General Litigation and Employment Program is to provide legal consultation, and representation services to Wayne County departments and elected officials so they can reduce liability, risk, and operating costs in the general litigation and labor and employment areas.
Tax
The purpose of the Tax Program is to provide legal consultation and representation services to the Office of the Wayne County Treasurer and the Wayne County Assessment and Equalization Division, so that property taxes are collected and property assessments are defended according to the law.
