MAN CHARGED IN FATAL SHOOTING OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Chauncey Louis Owens, 34, of Detroit in connection with the shooting death of Jerean Blake, 17, of Detroit. The fatal shooting occurred on May 14, 2010 at 2:45 p.m. at Mack and Beniteau in Detroit.
