Jazz on the River

The 15th year of Jazz on the River will provide two full days of events on July 31 and August 1st along the river's edge in Elizabeth Park in Trenton.

 The 15th year of Jazz on the River will provide two full days of events on July 31 and August 1st along the river’s edge in Elizabeth Park in Trenton.  International artists including George Duke, Rick Braun and Richard Elliot (R n R), Euge Groove, Tim Bowman, Nick Colionne and Alexander Zonjic are but a few of the world legends that will be featured during this festival. 
 

This star-studded extravaganza will also feature Detroit’s significant mainstays and emerging artists including Gwen Foxx, Sean Dobbins and Metro Jazz Voices.
 

While bringing grills and alcoholic beverages into Wayne County parks is not permitted, BBQ ribs and chicken, wings, hot dogs, burgers & brauts, veggies, ice cream and other special treats will be available for purchase at reasonable prices.  Special concert T-shirts, hats and tanks along with artist CD’s will be available for purchase throughout the event.
 

Parking is available in Elizabeth Park with a $5 donation in support of Wayne County Parks. Parking is available at the corner of Jefferson and West Road and Jefferson and Elm. Visitors also can ride SMART’s free shuttles to Elizabeth Park from local parking areas in the City of Trenton.  Shuttles will run continuously throughout the festival.
