Human Services Coordinating Body WHAT IS THE HSCB? The Wayne County Human Services Coordinating Body [better known as the HSCB] is a decision-making group of people representing private and public agencies, and the community, including law enforcement, senior citizen advocates, parents and consumers. The HSCB was convened in 1993 because the group wanted to enhance the delivery of human services to children and families in Detroit and Wayne County. The group coordinates their efforts to ensure that services are not unnecessarily duplicated and that needs of children and families are met more effectively. |
