Today Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Keith Burell Hudson, (DOB: 4/21/1975), in connection with the homicide of Marcel Dubose (DOB: 1/21/1990), both of Detroit. On October 10, 2016 at approximately 9:20 p.m., Detroit police were dispatched to a shooting at West Seven Mile and Montrose, near the location of The Original Hip Hop Shop* owned by the defendant. Mr. Dubose was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds. The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. Investigation by the Detroit police led to the arrest and charging of Defendant Hudson in the death of Mr. Dubose. The facts and the evidence in this case will be introduced in court at the preliminary examination.

Hudson has been charged with First-Degree Premeditated Murder, Manslaughter and Felony Firearm. Hudson was arraigned this morning and was remanded to jail. His probable cause conference is on October 25, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. and his preliminary examination is on October 31, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.in 36th District Court before Judge Deborah Lewis Langston.
