Mateen Cleaves - Defendant charged in sexual assault case. The defense motions in the case are scheduled to be heard by the court on Friday, July 29, 2016 in 67th District Court before Judge Dowd.
Michael Hunter - Defendant charged with Kidnapping - Child Enticement that caused an Amber Alert on June 14, 2016. It is alleged that he took a six-month-old infant from her mother's arms. The mother was personally served to appear in court for the preliminary examination. Today when the mother failed to appear for the hearing, Judge Shannon Holmes dismissed the case without prejudice.

Timothy Kane - Re-sentencing in the matter of People v. Timothy Kane was today adjourned by Judge Margaret Van Houten until July 19, 2016 at noon.
Gregory Walker, Lillian Roberts, Ernest Coleman - Defendants charged in connection with the May 31, 2016 homicide of Deontae Mitchell. The preliminary examination is currently in progress before Judge Shannon Holmes in the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice.
Geneke Lyons - Defendant found guilty by a jury in connection with the fatal dog mauling of a fouryear-old boy on Baylis Street in Detroit. Today the defendant was sentenced by Judge James Callahan to five years probation with the first 12 months to be served in the Wayne County Jail.
