Yesterday Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy charged Linton Richey, 33, (DOB: 03/02/1983), and Pierre Wilson, 28, (DOB: 11/03/1988), both of Inkster, in connection with the robbery of a 25-year-old female and a 23-year-old male.

During the robbery, the 23 year-old male was shot. On November 19, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m., Detroit police officers responded to 20000 block of Yonka in Detroit where they discovered a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. A 25-year-old female was also present and informed the police that the two had just been robbed.

Richey and Wilson have been charged with two counts of Armed Robbery (Maximum penalty - Life in prison), one count of Assault with Intent to Commit Murder (Maximum penalty - Life in prison), one count of Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm less than Murder (Maximum penalty - 10 years), six counts of Felony Firearm (Maximum penalty - two years), and Carrying a Firearm with Unlawful Intent (Maximum penalty - five years). Wilson is also charged with Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer (Maximum penalty - five years).*

The two defendants were arraigned yesterday in 36th District Court. Richey received a $350,000 cash/surety bond; Wilson received a $250,000 cash/surety bond. Both defendants will have their probable cause conference in on November 29, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. and their preliminary examination on December 7, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. before 36th District Court Judge Kenneth King in Detroit.
