Westland – Wayne County celebrated its annual Lightfest kickoff on Nov. 16, a favorite family activity featuring giant displays and other sparkling fun along the nearly 5-mile route in Hines Park. Lightfest was first shown in 1996. Since then thousands of motorists from across Michigan (and beyond) have visited the mega-watt display. continue  |

Wayne County Executive re-introduced department administrators to industry (public and mental health) officials, including Director Edith Killins and the deputy director, Dr. Anahid Kulwicki. Single Point of Entry provides Wayne County seniors with access to the range of programs serving them under one umbrella service.
