The county executive received the honor at the Chairman's Reception following Mass. The crystal-bell award was given by the Rev. Russell E. Kohler. Others honored by the Church (March 17) included Larry J. Johnson, a Detroit-based attorney, and Dr. Marianna Manion, a St. Clair Shore-based psychologist.
