Does your office accept major credit cards for payment?
No, but if you would like to use the credit card method of payment, you may do so by contacting the Michigan Department of Public Health:

How long does it take to process a mail request?
A mail request is processed within one to two weeks from the day the request is received at our office.

Can a mail request be expedited?
No, but if you would like to speed up the process, you may send your request express mail and enclose a prepaid express mail envelope so that our office can send it back to you.
 
How long does it take to process a birth or death certificate if a person comes into the office?
This process takes approximately 15 minutes.
