A passport is needed to travel to most countries. You may apply in person at the Wayne County Clerk's office located at 2 Woodward Avenue, Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Room 207, Detroit, MI 48226. Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM UNTIL 4:30 PM.
Now you can download Passport forms right from the Internet! Forms are available through the U.S. Department of State in Acrobat [.pdf] format. Forms are also available in the Wayne County Clerk's Office, local Post Office, and many public libraries.

*Must be paid separately. Passport fees are paid to the Department of State by check or money order. Execution fees are separately paid to the Wayne County Clerk in cash or money order.
Expedited Service - Add $60 for each application to be paid to the Department of State.
Photographs $10.00 for two photographs with the dimensions of 2" x 2" by 1" to 1 3/8" are required
