Press Conference- McLouth Steel Plant Parcel Transferred to Crown Enterprises
Trenton- Local elected officials and community leaders were available yesterday following a ceremony commemorating the transfer of the deed for the McLouth Steel Plant parcel from the Wayne County Land Bank to Crown Enterprises. The event closed a two year process with the demolition of the steel plant. The project is expected to take approximately 24 months, and Crown Enterprises will be investing $20 million toward improving the site within the next 72 months.
