The
Environmental Health division administers and enforces numerous
State and County environmental health laws, assists businesses
in meeting their regulatory responsibilities and design environmental
health programs to meet community needs.
MISSION
STATMENT
The
Environmental Health Division through its regulatory and other
services outside the City of Detroit, has the mission to:
- Prevent
health risks caused by food, water, or other environmental
resources
- Ensure
compliance with numerous State and County environmental
health laws, and
- Inform
residents and business of the County's environmental
health conditions and the services
dedicated to improving those conditions
This
