More than 50 health care organizations and agencies will be represented at Wayne County Public Health Funfest 2011. Health services offered will include:
- Blood Pressure
- Dental
- Hearing and vision screenings
- Lead testing
- HIV testing
- Health and smoking cessation information
- Maternal infant care information
- Materials concerning health coverage plans
- Back-to-school immunizations
- And much, much more.
Other Festival Features & Activities
As an added incentive to attendees, the first 300 school-age children of families arriving at the event will receive backpacks filled with school supplies!
A “Project Fresh” Farmer’s Market will offer locally-grown fresh produce for purchase.
There will be entertainment for the entire family, including appearances by dental health mascot Mr. Tooth, prize giveaways, free food and refreshments.
