Homeland Security/Emergency Management Services

Group Purpose Statement:
The purpose of the Emergency Management group is to set forth administrative and operational policies and procedures that will provide for an efficient utilization of all resources during the occurrence or threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property to governmental jurisdictions, businesses and the residents of Wayne County so they can identify, prepare, and respond to emergencies.
 
Program Purpose Statement:
The purpose of the Emergency Preparedness Management program is to provide comprehensive planning, training, data and grant management services for local government jurisdictions and the general public so they can have the knowledge and ability to prepare for all emergencies.
