The Wayne County Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE)is dedicated to driving new investment into Wayne County and spurring the reinvention of our region’s economy. In the last year, over $2.0 billion has been invested in Wayne County by corporations with historical roots in the region and by companies that are entirely new to the county. Many of these companies have job openings now and are eagerly looking for bright, well-trained people to fill them. These positions are in high-demand and growth areas like alternative energy, life sciences, medicine, advanced manufacturing, and technology services. The Wayne County JobEDGE website will actively promote these employers and provide direct links to job postings for Wayne County residents.
