Communities » City of Lincoln Park
Lincoln
Park is a residential community and a regional retail trade center
located just south of Detroit in the northern tier of the downriver
communities.
It is populated with people who are employed in the nearby industrial
areas of Detroit, Dearborn, Ecorse, Wyandotte and Trenton.
Two regional shopping centers combined with strip/commercial
development along Fort Street [M-85] and Southfield [M-39], different
businesses, industries and other enterprises make Lincoln Park
a center of economic activity.
Both Fort Street and the Southfield Freeway, along with the
I-75 Freeway and easy access to I-94, provide good transportation
access to the region. Conrail trackage provides rail access.
