Compliance Evaluation
Monitoring data for each pollutant measured is evaluated quarterly, using data from
the previous six months, for compliance with Wayne County Sewer Use and/or Federal
Regulations Significant Non-Compliance (SNC) criteria defined in General Pretreatment
Standards, 40 CFR 403.8.
If the evaluation indicates SNC, enforcement action is taken to develop a compliance
schedule to resolve the violation. A list of all Users that were determined to be
in SNC is published annually in the largest daily newspaper in the municipality
in which the County Agency is located.
