Frequently Asked Questions
Bell Creek is a scenic park that lines the banks of the Bell Branch of the Rouge River. Much like the other parks in the Wayne County Park System, this park had its beginning in the 1940s as a project to preserve the flood plain lands along the river.
It took the Wayne County Park Trustees more than seven years to acquire the 62 acres that comprise this valuable resource. Thanks to their efforts, Bell Creek Park, is a unique blend of wetland forests, flood plain and uplands.
The park is located at the intersection of Inkster and Five Mile Road in Redford Township. It features two regulation size soccer fields, ball diamonds, tennis courts, a picnic pavilion and play structure. We invite you to enjoy our Movies in the Park, Concerts in the Park and Kids Kaleidoscope performances at Bell Creek this season.
