Frequently Asked Questions
The Northville Recreation Area is located in Hines Park along the headwaters of the Rouge River. This wooded area is secluded and offers three distinct activity areas.
The west picnic area offers a small ball diamond, a play structure and large picnic shelter. This area can hold a group up to 100 people. Beach volleyball courts and a large ball diamond are located in the east area.
A new rest station is central to these activity areas. This area has long been a favorite trailhead for since the bike path connects downtown Northville with the Hines Park bike path.
