Forestry Section
Responsible for the care of the State and County Road right-of-ways not used by vehicular traffic. Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of grass areas
- Tree trimming and removal
- Planting of trees, shrubs and flowers
- Inspection of trees for disease and insects
- Issuance of permits for tree planting, removal, and trimming
- Coordination of litter pick-up with the Alternate Work Force Program
- Janitorial and grounds maintenance of two [2] State rest areas
