10 year Recruitment Fair/ Anniversary
Laughing children, face painting, dancing clowns, snow cones, hamburgers ,music, games and the moon walks were just a few of the sights and sounds at the 10th Anniversary Wayne County Head Start recruitment fair on June 25, 2009 at Hines Park, in Westland.
Despite the economy, parents have a great opportunity to get free quality education for their three to five year olds through the Wayne County Head Start program. Many parents are having to make major sacrifices during these economic times, said Wayne County Executive Robert A. Ficano addressing more than 600 concerned parents and Head Start providers. But thanks to our Head Start program, it does not include sacrificing the education of your pre-schoolers.
