Dental Assist
Dental Assist is a Wayne County HealthChoice program that provides limited dental
benefits to a randomly selected group of enrollees from the Adult Benefit Waiver
(MedBasic) program. This program is capped at 6,000 enrollees. The provider for
this program is Dencap Dental Plans.
Benefits of Dental Assist include:
- Dental care is available with only a $3 co-pay.
- Covered Services - Routine dental services, including treatment
for pain and infection, annual cleanings and repair of dentures.
- Advanced Services - Dentures, fillings, extractions and oral surgery
procedures are covered with prior approval, and medical necessity.
- Local Anesthesia - Covered for certain procedures
