Wayne County TEMPRO Program
In today’s complex, rapidly changing world you’re juggling a lot. Between work family
and a little bit of fun, taking care of your health just isn’t a priority right
now. However, thanks to a new program designed specifically for part-time workers
like you--we’ve got you covered!
Wayne County HealthChoice and Blue Care Network of Michigan are partnering to offer
a health care program for part-time workers. The Wayne County HealthChoice TEMPRO
program provides part-time workers with affordable medical benefits through Blue
Care Network, a health maintenance organization affiliated with Blue Cross Blue
Shield of Michigan.
The Wayne County TEMPRO Program is a two-share managed care plan. This means Wayne
County pays half and you pay the remaining half for Blue Care Network’s benefits.
As a program member, you will be able to select a Primary Care Physician to manage
most of your health care needs.
Paying for Your Benefits
Under the TEMPRO Program, members pay a monthly premium of $95.00. Additional co-payments
and deductibles will apply for certain services.
Who’s Eligible?
To be eligible for Wayne County HealthChoice TEMPRO, you must:
- Be without any other healthcare coverage
- Work a minimum of 20 hours a week for at least five months
- Live in Wayne County
- Provide two consecutive pay stubs
- Earn $30,000 or less a year
