Purchasing

The Purchasing Division is responsible for the management and coordination of the acquisition of goods and services, including requisition processing, commodity code tracking, and bid specifications. This division also maintains the County’s downtown stockroom.

ePurchasing: Vendor Registration

Wayne County accepts quotations only when there is a current need. To be notified of current opportunities for those goods or services you provide, please go to the ePurchasing Vendor Registration page and register. This will provide automatic notification of most of the County’s contracting opportunities which are solicited through a simple quotation process (for contract that will not exceed $50,000). Major contracting opportunities (contracts that will exceed $50,000) are not currently able to be automatically distributed through the ePurchasing system and you will need to watch for these on our Current Opportunities for Major Contracts page.

To view current solicitations for quotations (those contracts that will not exceed $50,000) you may bypass the benefits offered by the vendor registration process and download these directly from the ePurchasing Quotes page.

To view current solicitations for major contracts ( those contracts expected to exceed $50,000) you must download the Invitations for Bids (IFBs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) on the Current Opportunities for Major Contracts page.


Forms Download

Wayne County requires certain forms to be completed and submitted with quotes, bids and proposals. Please go to the Forms Download page to access any forms referenced in a particular solicitation. These forms may be completed online then printed for submission, or they may be printed and completed manually.
