Biography - Jerome E. Crawford
Chief of Legislation, Grants and Community Affairs

Jerome E. Crawford was born May 27, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan. He attended St. Agnes Grade School (diploma); Detroit St. Martin de Porres High School from 1968-1972 (diploma); Michigan State University from 1972-1976 (Bachelor of Arts); Wayne State University Law School from 1976-1979 (Juris Doctorate). He was employed by Attorney J. Robert Gragg who was a Wayne County Probate Judge (deceased). He was also in private practice for the Law Offices of Jerome E. Crawford representing plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal litigation in the State and Federal Courts. Mr. Crawford is admitted to practice in U. S. District Court, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He is currently Chief of Legislation, Grants and Community Relations for the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorneys Office.
