In recent correspondence to the Wayne County Commission, Treasurer, Raymond J. Wojtowicz declared $21,000,000 of retained earnings from the Delinquent Tax Revolving Fund (DTRF). Wayne County Treasurer Announces 24-Hour Automated Telephone Response Service
  The Office of the Wayne County Treasurer has implemented a new automated telephone response information system called the Voice Response Unit [VRU]. VRU became effective June 15, 2005. The new system enables taxpayers to access delinquent property tax information via telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. continue

Wayne County Treasurer Extends Office Hours for Third Consecutive Year
  Wayne County Treasurer, Raymond J. Wojtowicz, has extended office hours for the third consecutive year to address delinquent taxes. As a result of Michigan Public Act 123 of 1999, codified as MCLA 211.78 Et seq., delinquent property taxes for year ending 2002 must be paid prior to March 1, 2005, or the property owner may face foreclosure. continue
