Wayne County — Whether a one-man operation or a billion-dollar corporation, any business can benefit by making one stop inside a new resource center. The One-Stop Business Resource Center provides single point of contact for Wayne County businesses to receive personal assistance with County programs and services.
Located in Detroit just off of Temple Street, the center is designed to assist county businesses with its development, growth and expansion by bringing together a Consortium of business-development, agencies and institutions.
"We have already helped so many businesses through our one-stop," said Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano. "At our ribbon cutting, we had business owners ready to take a tour. It is just another equation in our mission to bring business into the County."
More than 135 businesses have already contacted the center and more than 50 have received consulting assistance. There are several Consortium Partners affiliated with the One-Stop Center categorized by Business Development, Financing Entities, Membership Organizations and Service Providers.
"We are very appreciative of the Commissioner's support, particularly of Commissioner Keith William's leadership and incite which significantly contributed in the development of this important program" said Frank Ross, Director of the Wayne County Business Development Division.
