What is a Strategic Master Plan?
The Strategic Master Plan will provide a vision and implementation strategy to strengthen the Wayne County Park system. It will also serve to
better meet the needs of the community, and ensure the long-term sustainability and prosperity of the system.
Key components of the Strategic Master Plan:
Park System Plan
A long-range regional vision for the enhancement and connectivity of the park system to the community.
Business & Sustainability Plan
Recommendations and strategies for improving the operations, economic performance, and administration of the park system.
5-Year Recreational Master Plan
Required update to meet the State of Michigan requirements and eligibility for grant funding and other assistance.
