The Urban Roots Community Gardening Training Program was borne out of the need
to create and sustain more community gardens by training community leaders in
horticulture as well as community organizing. This program was specifically
designed for residents of Wayne County gardening in urban areas. In 2005, The
Urban Roots Community Gardening Training Program will teach 24 community garden
leaders the skills they need to create and/or maintain strong, vibrant, and
sustainable community gardens. If this sounds like you, don't miss the
opportunity to be a part of the first Urban Roots class.
Class Schedule and Session Topics:

on how to start a community garden and keep it going.
