News --- Green Buildings Forum

Learn more about “Green” homes and commercial buildings and how they save energy costs!

Wayne County is co-sponsoring a Green Buildings Forum on Thursday, June 16, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the University of Michigan-Dearborn Environmental Interpretive Center. Admission is free and open to the public!

Speakers include Professor Orin Gelderloos, Director of the Environmental Interpretative Center, who will give an orientation on the “green” features of the EIC. In addition, Green Building Council Detroit Regional Chapter Vice Chair Paul Goldsmith will give a presentation on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)—Building for the 21st Century. John Hartig, Manager of the Detroit River International Refuge with serve as Moderator to the program.
