| Wayne County, the Airport Authority and TSA to provide travelers needed information for safe trips during the holiday season
Livonia – Airport security, online travel scams/prevention and travel safety during the busy holiday season are a few of the tips explained by experts at a Thursday, Nov. 3 Town Hall.
The goal is to help ease the stress of hectic holiday travel, offering tips so that travelers have more control at airports nationwide. The event is free and open to the public. The Town Hall starts at 6:30 p.m., with closing remarks scheduled for 8 p.m. The event is at Livonia City Hall, located at Five Mile and Farmington roads.
Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano, county Homeland Security Director James Buford, Deputy Director Mark Hammond, Wayne County Airport Authority spokesman Michael Conway, travel industry experts and Bob Ball, federal TSA security director based at Metro Airport, provide the overview.
