Crosswinds Marsh Interpretive Center
Scout Badge Programs

Crosswinds Marsh offers workshops with activities designed to meet badge requirements for the Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Girl Scout badges listed below.  You may call to make an appointment for your pack/troop to work with a naturalist on any of the badges listed.  Badges are not provided by Wayne County Parks, but are available at your local scout council office.

scouting USACub Scout, Boy Scout, Brownie Try It and Junior Girl Scout badges can be completed in a two-hour workshop and the fee is $3.00 per scout, unless otherwise noted.  Cadette and Senior Girl Scout badges can be completed in a three-hour workshop and the fee is $4.00 per scout.  There is no charge for adults or leaders.  All programs are conducted outdoors under an open-air pavilion, please dress appropriately.

Scout programs are offered April-October, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm, unless otherwise noted and at least one Saturday a month.  Any of the badges listed can also be scheduled for June-August at the request of the scout leader.

Registration for all Scout Badges begins Tuesday, March 4, 2008.  To register, please call Crosswinds Marsh at (734) 654-1220.    

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PREPAYMENT IS REQUIRED.  YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED FOR A WORKSHOP UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.  Once payment is received, no refunds are given unless Crosswinds cancels the program.  Group size is limited to 30 scouts per badge and registration is first come, first served.  Any badge with less than 10 pre-registered participants will be cancelled and fees returned.

BOY SCOUT BADGE WORKSHOPS

Requires five two-hour workshops to complete all requirements.  The five workshops will be completed over two Saturdays.  The fee is $15.00 per scout for all five workshops.
