Wayne County Sheriff’s Chaplain Corps

The criminal justice profession is more emotionally challenging than physically dangerous, and every employee of the department, regardless, is affected. We can issue handguns, vests, uniforms, and other equipment to help meet the physical obligations of the job.

The Chaplain Corps is vital to providing additional departmental support through routine counseling to help employees handle the emotional stress involved in the job. It is vitally important to take care of Sheriff’s Office staff, and their families, in time of need.

A properly trained and motivated Corps can assist department professionals and provide the moral and spiritual foundation necessary to to maintain a high standard of public service.
