Purpose: To avoid duplicating the path of someone who has violated
the law and who has been sentenced to long term incarceration for
their crime.
Activity: To introduce an inmate who wants to share with others
how to avoid the consequences that he/she will receive because
of their criminal activity.
Outcome: To drive home the consequences of breaking the law.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving [MADD]

Time: 10:45 – 11:45 am
Purpose: To provide information about the consequences of drunk
driving from people who have been victims or whose loved ones have
been victims.
Activity: Sharing real-life experiences with tour particpants.
Outcome: To discourage participants from drinking and driving,
or letting someone they know drink and drive.

Time: 12:00 noon – 1:15 pm
Purpose: To have people take a hard look at the consequences past
offenders must suffer as a result of breaking the law.
Activity: To view graphic slides of offenders. Deaths which were
the result of gang activity, drive by shootings and stabbings are
shown.
Outcome: to have participants recognize that if they make the
wrong decision in life, severe consequences will result. They realize
that their involvement in illegal activity can lead them to the
doorstep of jail, the morgue or a rehabilitation center.

True Life Crusaders

Purpose: To have people witness and hear from members of True
Life Crusaders, who suffer from physical and mental impairment
as a result of their own, or someone else’s criminal behavior.
Outcome: To further inform people of the consequences of becoming
involved in criminal activity, such as gangs.
