Boater Tips
- Don't Drink and operate a boat or have a
designated driver
- Know your boat’s capacity
- Have enough life jackets for everyone. Wear them, make sure
they fit and are secured
- Have fire extinguisher charged and ready
- Have wet suit in case of emergency
- If you capsize, stay with boat, don’t try to swim to
shore. Huddle for warmth.
