Parks and Secondary Roads Patrol

The Park Patrol and Secondary Road Patrol are the units of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office that have the primary duty of law enforcement.

Included in these divisions are the O.U.I.L. Unit [responsible for enforcement of traffic laws, with an emphasis on driving while intoxicated arrests] and the Western Wayne Auto Theft Unit and Commercial Auto Theft [both of which have the mission of recovering stolen vehicles and have the task of arresting those involved with the theft, possession or sale of stolen automobiles].
