On the following waters of the Detroit River and the Rouge
River, and those canals and channels connected thereto, located
within the city limits, the following provisions apply:
[a] It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vessel to
exceed a slow--no wake speed on the Detroit River
when within 400 feet of any shore, from the western city of Detroit
corporate
limits to the St. Aubin marina.
[b] It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vessel to
exceed a slow--no wake speed on that part of the
Detroit River between the mainland shore and the north shore
of Belle Isle, commencing from the St. Aubin marina to a line
from
the most eastern point of Belle Isle to Conners Creek
extended.
[c] It shall be unlawful for the operator of a vessel to
exceed a slow--no wake speed on that part of the
Detroit River when within 400 feet of any shore, from Conners
Creek extended to the eastern city of Detroit corporate limits
It shall be unlawful, at any time, to operate a vessel at
a speed in excess of 40 miles per hour [64 kilometers
per hour].

On
the following waters of the Detroit River adjacent to the City,
it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed
a "slow
-- no wake speed" when within three hundred [300] feet
of the shore:
- South of an east-west line beginning where the Ecorse
Creek intersects the Detroit River, extending eastward
300 feet from shore, and
continuing to 300 feet south of the intersection of Perry
Place with the Detroit River.
- South of an east-west line beginning where Cedar Street, as extended,
intersects the Detroit River, thence south to the southernmost
city limit as extended 300 feet off shore.

On the following waters of the Detroit
River, within the corporate limits of the city of Trenton, Wayne
County, town 4 south, range 11 east, it is unlawful for the operator
of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed, when within 1000
feet of any shore, dock, or pierhead.
- This rule applies only to vessels used for
recreational puropose
On the waters of all artificial and natural channels
and canals, within the corporate limits of the city of Trenton,
Wayne County, town 4 south, range 11 east, it is unlawful for the
operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed
.

River and connected waters, Town 4 South, Range 11 East and Town

South, Range 11 East, Grosse
Ile Township, Wayne County, it is unlawful for the operator of
a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed when within 1000 feet
of any shore, dock or pierhead, except:
- East of Grosse Ile and west of Ballards Reef Channel
from Black Can Buoy #1 upstream to Grosse Ile Spit Lighted
Buoy LL 969 [HB 1 QK FLW] and
- West of Grosse Ile and east of teh mainland of Wayne
County from Red Nun #6 upstream to Grosse Ile Split Lighted
Buoy LL 969 [HB 1 QK FLW] and
- On those waters adjacent to the Island of Mama Juda,
Powder House, and Stony.

Thorofare Canal: slow--no wake speed.
On the waters of Thorofare Canal, P.C. 549, 550, 551, Town 4 South , Range
11 East, Grosse Ile Township, Wayne County, it is unlawful for the operator
of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

Frenchman Creek and connected waters; slow--no wake speed.
On the waters of Frenchman Creek, passages east and west of Round Island
and connected artifical canal, Town 4 South , Range 11 East, Grosse Ile Township,
Wayne County, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no
wake speed.

Meso-Hickory Passage; slow--no wake speed.
On the waters of the passage between meso and Hickory Islands, Town 5 South,
Range 11 East, Grosse Ile Township, Wayne County, it is unlawful for the
operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

Swan Island Canal; slow--no wake speed.
On the waters of the canal between Swan Island and teh mainland of Grosse
Ile, Town 4 South, Range 11 East, Town 5 South, Range 11 East, Grosse Ile
Township, Wayne County, it is unlawful for the operator of a vessel to exceed
a slow--no wake speed.

Elba Island Canals; slow--no wake speed.
On the waters of the natual and artifical channels and canals adjacent to
Elaba Island, P.C. 553, 554 and 557, Town 4 South, Range 11 East, Town 5
South, Range 11 East, Grosse Ile Township, Wayne County, it is unlawful for
the operator of a vessel to exceed a slow--no wake speed.

to exceed a slow--no wake speed when within 500 feet of any shore, dock
or pierhead.
[2] This rule applies only to vessels used for
recreational purposes.
