About Us


Wayne County Health Communities (WCHC), is now having it's first federally qualified health center (FQHC) in the city of Hamtramack. Our mission is to provide and promote accessible comprehensive individual and community health care to community. Presently we are providing medical, dental, behavioral health care services.
Our Mission
The mission of Wayne County Healthy Communities (WCHC) is to improve health outcomes for the medically underserved community through the provision of high quality, affordable, and accessible primary health care and support services.

Health Care Providers
Hassan Dakroub, M.D – Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Hassan Dakroub is an internist and is affiliated with Oakwood Hospital-Dearborn. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and has been in practice for over 15 years. Dr. Dakroub accepts several types of health insurance, listed below. He specializes in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He also speaks multiple languages, including French, German, Italian and Arabic.
Javita Fizer, FNP-BC – Family Nurse Practitioner
Javita Fizer is a registered nurse provider with a graduate degree in nursing prepared for advanced practice involving independent and interdependent decision making and direct accountability for clinical judgment across the health care continuum. Javita Fizer graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the McAuley School of Nursing at University of Detroit Mercy. She is a registered nurse who has completed additional training beyond basic nursing education and who provides primary health care services in accordance with state nurse practice laws or statutes. Tasks performed by Javita vary with practice requirements mandated by geographic, political, economic, and social factors.
Daphnee Pierre-Louis, FNP-BC – Family Nurse Practitioner
Daphnee Pierre-Louis is a registered nurse provider with a graduate degree in nursing prepared for advanced practice involving independent and interdependent decision making and direct accountability for clinical judgment across the health care continuum or in a certified specialty. Daphnee Pierre-Louis graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the McAuley School of Nursing at University of Detroit Mercy. She is registered nurse who has completed additional training beyond basic nursing education and who provides primary health care services in accordance with state nurse practice laws or statutes. Tasks performed by Daphnee vary with practice requirements mandated by geographic, political, economic, and social factors.
Amanda Brownsberger, CNM
Amanda Brownsberger, CNM earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery form the University of Michigan. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Midwifery. Having had 15 years of Midwifery experience, Amanda has developed her skills in a variety of hospital and private practice settings. As a Nurse Midwife, she is qualified to provide comprehensive care to women prenatally, during labor, during postpartum as well as gynecological care to women of all ages. She takes pride in her ability to provide compassionate care and promote healthy lifestyles in all women.
