Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy to Hold
Fifth Town Hall Meeting in Dearborn on March 5, 2020 from 7PM to 9PM

Prosecutor Kym Worthy will hold a series of Town Hall meetings throughout Wayne County. The fifth town hall will be held on March 5, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Henry Ford College, 5101 Evergreen, Building L - Rosenau Room, Dearborn, MI 48126. Members of the public from Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster, Melvindale, Wayne and Westland, police, community leaders and the press are invited to attend.

There will be a brief presentation by Prosecutor Worthy and her staff on the following topics: How the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office Operates, School Threats, Domestic Violence, Conviction Integrity Unit, Sexual Assault Kits, and Drug and Mental Health Court. After the presentation, the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions. Light refreshments will be served, and the last half hour will be reserved for attendees to meet with Prosecutor Worthy.

"It is a privilege for me to interact with the citizens of Wayne County. There are so many serious issues right now that my office deals with each day. I want to give people an idea of what an urban prosecutor's office is like. The meetings will be upfront and personal. This fifth town hall meeting will cover the Wayne County metropolitan communities. Other locations will be announced in the future," said Prosecutor Worthy.

Future Town Hall meetings will be held various locations in the City of Detroit and other Wayne County Communities. Dates, times and locations for subsequent Town Hall meetings will be announced.
