Mission Statement
To lead and support a community system that provides and manages an array of supports, service, care and treatment that honor choice and advance the quality of community life for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, individuals with developmental disabilities and children with severe emotional disturbance, their families and the community.
Vision
To be a leader in a community that is supportive and embraces individuals with disabilities in community life in a manner that reflects the values, roles and responsibilities of full and meaningful citizenship.

Training for Tramautic Brain Injury
The Michigan Department of Community Health has a new web-based training for Tramautic Brain Injury (TBI). The free training is specifically targeted to staff at Michigan’s public service agencies. It provides basic clinical information about TBI and treatment strategies and also recommends the use of a basic screening tool.
