WAYNE COUNTY MAKES IMPROVEMENTS TO HANNAN ROAD
Wayne County Department of Public Services to start important road rehabilitation improvements to Hannan Road from Van Born Road to Michigan Avenue
WHAT'S BEING DONE?
This project will consist of the HMA surface rehabilitation of nearly 1 mile of Hannan Rodd from Van Born Road to Michigan Ave. in the City of Wayne and Canton Township.
The project will require HMA milling and resurfacing, HMA base repair, shoulder rehabilitation, guardrail, signing and pavement markings.
WHEN WILL WORK TAKE PLACE?
Construction is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, and is estimated to be completed by late Fall of 2023, barring any unforeseen delays or inclement weather.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
During construction, access to businesses and residences will be maintained. One lane of traffic in each direction is intended to remain open at all times, although directional traffic may experience delays due to flagging while the work is ongoing. There may be occasional full closures to complete some tasks. Reduced speeds and load restrictions may be posted.
Flaggers will be present as needed; please use caution when traveling through work zones.
