February 7, 2020- The Wayne County Treasurer's Office hosted a Taxpayer's Assistance Day workshop at Citadel of Praise, in partnership with State Senator Sylvia Santana. Over 100 taxpayers attended the event. Taxpayer's accounts were reviewed by WCTO representatives and some taxpayers entered into payment plans. Senator Santana's office and our other community partners such as Wayne Metro and the City of Detroit Board of review provided helpful resources to taxpayers.

During the event, Treasurer Sabree spoke on the various services of the Wayne County Treasurer's Office. He also spoke about the recently proposed "pay as you stay" legislation pending in Lansing.
