Wayne County’s Department of Public Services will offer five countywide Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collections for 2015. The HHW collections run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and are open to Wayne County residents only

Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans today announced plans to consolidate County office space. The move is expected to eventually save nearly $3 Million annually in rent and maintenance costs and increase efficiency in services provided by the County.

Today, the Wayne County Commission unanimously approved Richard Kaufman as Wayne County Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO). Appointed as Deputy to Wayne County Executive Warren Evans, Kaufman will begin his duties April 1, 2015.
