Wayne County is one of the most diverse counties in the United States. Wayne County CEO Robert Ficano has made it a priority to have his administration reflect this diversity. Our County boasts sizable African American and Arab American communities along with a flourishing Polish community in Hamtramck and Mexican community in Southwest Detroit. Our County prides itself on being representative of the larger global community; a place where different cultures come together in the common interest of individual and community advancement.
