The Wayne County Lightfest takes place Wednesday - Sunday from November 21, 2024 - December 24, 2024 with bonus days of December 23 and December 24 from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
The fees (CASH ONLY) for the Lightfest are:
Cars: $5 cash
Commercial Van/RV/Limo $20 cash
Mini-Bus (20 passengers) $25 cash
Bus (40+ passengers) $50 cash
The address for the Lightfest is 7651 N. Merriman Road in Westland.
Toy Nights, an initiative that allows visitors to donate a new, unwrapped toy in lieu of paying the entrance fee, will take place on Wednesdays, November 27, December 4 and December 11.
New for 2024 at Perrin Park (halfway through the Lightfest):
- Expanded food truck area with five trucks offering different types of food!
- Reindeer Nights on Wednesdays, November 27 and December 4 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
- Santa will be at Perrin Park on Wednesdays, December 11 and December 18 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
During the Lightfest, Hines Drive closes to traffic for set-up/clean-up from Ann Arbor Trail to Outer Drive from 5:00 PM - Midnight.
Tickets can be pre-purchased at the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center to be given away as gifts or to be used at the Lightfest. The fee is $5.00 per car and we accept cash, check or VISA as payment. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone with a credit card but please allow for one weeks notice for the tickets to be mailed.
