2023 Park Permits
Wayne County Parks is currently taking reservations for the 2023 park permit season. Reservations can be made in person at the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center or online by clicking HERE. For more information about available park shelters, park rules and other information, please click HERE. The Nankin Mills Interpretive Center is located at 33175 Ann Arbor Trail in Westland and is open Monday - Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. For more information, please call (734) 261-1990.

2023 Wayne County Parks Special Events and Interpretive Program brochure
The 2023 Parks Brochure is now available at the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center Monday - Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. In addition, if your organization would like multiple copies of the brochure, please call (734) 261-1990 to arrange delivery.

Nankin Mills Interpretive Center
The Nankin Mills Interpretive Center is open Monday - Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM for park permits, dog park registrations, metal detector permits and general questions. In addition, the first floor is open for visitors to check out the animal displays.

Wayne County Parks Dog Park
Registration for the new dog park season (May 1, 2023 - April 30, 2024) is now open at the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center in Westland. Registration hours are Monday - Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and the address for the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center is 33175 Ann Arbor Trail in Westland. Click HERE for the dog park rules and membership application form. Please note, you will need to bring copies of your city dog license and rabies/distemper vaccination records to register your dog and the membership is not pro-rated.

WAYNE COUNTY PARKS STRATEGIC MASTER PLAN
Wayne County Parks is updating its 5 Year Parks and Recreation Master Plan which serves as a guidebookto direct funding and actions for parks improvements and recreation services.. Click HERE to review a draft of the Master Plan.
