Nankin Mills Interpretive Center
Due to COVID-19, the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center remains closed to visitors. There is a walk-up window for residents to register for the dog park, picnic permits or purchase a metal detector permit. The front desk will be open from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday afternoons.
Wayne County Parks Dog Park
The Wayne County Parks Dog Park is now open. Please note that the new season runs May 1, 2021-April 30, 2022. Registration for the new season will not start until May 3, 2021. Click HERE for the dog park rules and membership application form.
The dog park will be closed for reseeding starting Monday, May 3, 2021 and will reopen on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Connecting the Rouge Website
Connecting the Rouge is a regional planning effort led by Wayne County Parks that will connect communities along the Rouge River with access to existing and planned trails on Hines Drive, the Lower Rouge Greenway and the Rouge River Gateway.
