• The Wayne County Treasurer's Office saved over 50,000 people from property tax foreclosure within the past two years.
• In the past three years, foreclosures were reduced by 85% in Wayne County.
• According to the Michigan Department of Treasury State-Wide Real Property Tax Forfeiture and Foreclosure Statistics, Wayne County showed a reduction from 9% of foreclosed properties to 6% since last year.
• 65,036 homes were in forfeiture in 2017.
• 4178 homes were foreclosed in 2018.
