In the past three years, foreclosures were reduced by 85% in Wayne County.
According to the Michigan Department of Treasury State-Wide Real Property Tax Forfeiture and Foreclosure Statistics, Wayne County showed a reduction from 9% of foreclosed properties to 6% since last year.
65,036 homes were in forfeiture in 2017.
