Private Marriage Ceremonies

Will take place on Thursdays and Fridays, except for holidays, at our 400 Monroe location.

Couples are required to fill out the marriage license application online or onsite prior to obtaining the marriage license.

Fees:

Private ceremonies are $150.00.

Marriage license is $30.00.

The first certified copy of a marriage certificate is $24.00 and $7.00 for each additional copy purchased the same day.

Per office policy, the Wayne County Clerk's Office will provide two witnesses for your ceremony.
