AIDS/HIV Prevention and Control

• Provides surveillance and control of STIs including syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia

• Provides free and confidential HIV counseling, testing, referral and partner notification services

• Provides case and partner follow-up to ensure adequate treatment

• Coordinates referrals for testing to the Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) clinic.

• Provides in-services, educational programs to schools, groups and the community on STI prevention, screening, and testing.
